Pau D’Arco Bark \u2013 A Source of Strength and Vitality<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pau D’Arco grows in South America, where it’s known as the ‘divine tree that provides strength and vitality.’ It earned its name ‘ant tree’ because its branches have many hollows where ants love to live. The most valuable part is the inner bark, as it concentrates biologically active substances like lapachol, xylodine, and many flavonoids. Pau D’Arco is considered a natural antibiotic that \u2013 unlike traditional antibiotics \u2013 doesn’t harm immunity but acts much smarter, activating the body’s defenses against pathogens and increasing resistance to various infections. The indigenous people of Mexico and Peru already knew about and highly valued the healing properties of this tree’s bark, calling Pau D’Arco the divine tree. The bark is removed from a living tree, after which it regrows quite quickly. In healing, only a part of the inner bark is used; the rest of the bark doesn’t contain such valuable substances. In some South American regions, Pau D’Arco trees can live up to 700 years. <\/p>\n

No bacteria, fungi, or parasites can live on its trunk and bark! However, the substances in the bark don’t harm the ants, which aerate the soil around the tree and thus benefit it, so they feel good both around and within the tree. <\/p>\n

*The most important substance in the bark is lapachol \u2013 it has antibacterial effects, stopping the growth and reproduction of undesirable microorganisms (this also applies to staphylococci, streptococci, and brucella).<\/p>\n

*Pau D’Arco bark is effective against influenza, herpes virus, SARS, and other viruses. It slows down fungal reproduction. <\/p>\n

*The bark has antiparasitic effects, stopping parasite reproduction because its substances create unfavorable conditions where they cannot survive.<\/p>\n

*Tea and preparations made from the bark lower blood pressure, calm, promote digestion, reduce inflammation, heal insect bites, and generally strengthen immunity. In its native land, Pau D’Arco is considered an effective remedy for tumor prevention. <\/p>\n

Pau D’Arco Bark Tea<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour 1 liter of water over 2 teaspoons of crushed bark and boil for 5 minutes. Then let it steep for 15 minutes. Drink 1 liter per day (maximum 6 weeks, then pause for 4 weeks). <\/p>\n

Pau D’Arco Bark Tincture<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Fill half a small jar with crushed bark.<\/p>\n

2. Pour 40% vodka over it, ensuring all the bark is well covered.<\/p>\n

3. Cap it and store at room temperature for 2-6 weeks. Shake occasionally. <\/p>\n

4. Then strain and pour into a dark bottle (can be stored for ~1 year).<\/p>\n

Take 10-50 drops 2-3 times a day<\/p>\n
