Description
This blend will give your homemade popcorn (or “popping grains,” as we call them) a delicious chocolate and delicate Ceylon cinnamon aroma—you won’t be able to imagine this tasty snack without it!
Stovetop popcorn recipe:
1. Heat a little oil in a pot (preferably with a thick base).
2. Drop a few kernels into the pot.
3. Once they pop, add the rest of the kernels, covering the bottom of the pot evenly.
4. Put the lid on, remove the pot from the heat, and wait 30 seconds. This allows the rest of the kernels to reach the right temperature so they’ll start popping at roughly the same time when you put the pot back on the heat.
5. Put the pot back on the heat. Once the kernels start popping, gently shake the pot every now and then. Keep the lid slightly ajar to let the steam out (this makes the popcorn drier and crunchier).
6. When the popping slows to several seconds apart, remove the pot from the heat and pour into a large bowl.
7. Add a little melted butter and stir in the spices (to taste).
Enjoy!
