Lemon Verbena

Description

Lemon verbena is native to Chile, Argentina, and Peru. It has shiny, smooth, slightly rough leaves, and when rubbed, they release a strong lemon aroma.

Lemon verbena is also grown as a garden ornamental, used as a raw material for perfumes, in handicrafts, and cosmetic products.

USAGE: These leaves add a lemon flavor to fish and poultry dishes, vegetable marinades, salad dressings, jams, puddings, Greek yogurt, sorbet, and various drinks. It’s also used for making herbal teas or added to tea instead of lemon.
