Chopped ginger root

Description

Ginger is one of the most famous Eastern spices. Its roots contain the essential oil gingerol, giving it that signature refreshing aroma. It has a pleasantly sharp, warming flavor and scent.

USAGE: Dried, chopped ginger root works well in various marinades and as an addition to meat dishes. If you don’t mind its spicy, slightly burning taste, you can also add it to cookie or gingerbread dough and desserts along with fresh or dried fruit.
