Description
The rosehip is the round part of the flower just below the petals. It contains rose seeds which, when dried together with the fruit, can be used not only in cooking but also in medicine. Fresh rosehips contain a high dose of vitamin C and are used not only to treat colds or the flu, but also various stomach, kidney, back, and leg issues, as well as for treating diabetes, high cholesterol, and stabilizing the immune system and blood pressure.
USE: In cooking, rosehips are used for tea, jams, and soups.
MANASGARSAS.LV RECOMMENDATION: Include rosehips in your daily diet because of their countless valuable properties! Soak them overnight in a small amount of water and then add them to muesli mixes, smoothies, or porridges.
