Date sugar

Description

Organic date sugar, a truly natural sweetener, is made from fully ripened (pitted) dates from Tunisia, ground into a fine, yellowish-white powder. This natural sweetener consists of 100% fruit pulp and contains no added ingredients. With a mild date flavor and a pleasant caramel note, this date sugar is an aromatic alternative to refined sugar.

Thanks to the gentle processing of the dates – drying and grinding – the valuable ingredients found in dates, such as fiber, as well as minerals and vitamins, are largely preserved in their natural concentration.

You can use organic date sweetener wherever you would normally use sugar – for example, in baking, or for preparing savory dishes or desserts. Its natural sweet taste with a mild caramel aroma stands out especially well in muesli, porridges, yogurt, and hot drinks like cocoa, coffee, or black tea. Date sugar will dissolve less easily in cold drinks, so it won’t be as suitable as, for example, coconut blossom or birch sugar.
