Vanilla extract in ethanol (alcohol) is widely used in baking and confectionery
products, as it adds a lovely lift to your bakes! It’s perfect for baking (cakes, sponges, cookies) and desserts that require heat treatment, as well as for making ice cream. The alcohol evaporates during cooking, but the intense vanilla flavor remains! Plus, the rich vanilla aroma is even more pronounced when heated!
If a recipe calls for “vanilla extract,” it almost always means vanilla extract in ethanol (alcohol).
The extraction method allows for a wider spectrum of aromas to be “pulled” from the vanilla pods, resulting in a more intense flavor.
No added sugar in our vanilla extract!
This is a high-strength vanilla extract, with twice the vanilla
concentration of a standard extract (200 g vanilla/1 L).
