Description
This mix will add a subtly sweet and naturally smoky kick to your homemade popcorn – you won’t be able to imagine your delicious snack without it!
Recipe for Pot-Popped Popcorn:
1. Heat a little oil in a pot (preferably one with a thick bottom).
2. Toss a few kernels into the pot.
3. Once they pop, add the remaining kernels, spreading them evenly across the bottom of the pot.
4. Put the lid on, remove the pot from the heat, and wait 30 seconds. This will allow the remaining kernels to reach the right temperature, so when you put the pot back on the heat, they’ll start popping almost simultaneously.
5. Place the pot back on the heat. When the kernels start popping, gently shake the pot occasionally. Keep the lid slightly ajar to release steam (this will make your popcorn drier and crispier).
6. When the popping interval is several seconds, remove the pot from the heat and pour into a large bowl.
7. Add a little melted butter and, while stirring, add the spices (to taste).
Enjoy!
