Description
Tzatziki is a very popular Greek blend made from traditional Greek yogurt, fresh cucumbers, and garlic, enhanced with various herbs and spices favored in Greece—most commonly dill, mint, or parsley. Tzatziki is usually served as a dip with meat dishes and vegetables. Sometimes, it’s finished with a drizzle of good olive oil.
Tzatziki as a herb and yogurt sauce likely originated in 1876, according to several historical cookbooks.
Our Manas Garšas Tzatziki is made from Himalayan pink crystal salt (25%), toasted onions, parsley, dill, garlic, and a pinch of mint. Stir our freshly prepared blend into Greek or Turkish yogurt, add fresh cucumbers, a drop of aromatic olive oil, and fresh garlic to taste!
To give your Tzatziki dip a kick, you can add green jalapeños or Urfa Biber chili. If you’re craving some tang, add a squeeze of lemon juice. During the summer, fresh dill and parsley will give the sauce a special flavor!
