Description
A blend of herbs characteristic of the Middle East, widely used in Arabic cuisine. The word za’atar has several meanings, one of which is a mixture of dried herbs, sesame seeds, and often salt.
USE: In Arabic cuisine, za’atar is sprinkled on bread and grilled vegetables, or mixed with yogurt to use as a salad dressing. This blend also adds great flavor to pasta dishes.
MANASGARSAS.LV RECOMMENDATION: Add this spice blend and olive oil to boiled, blended chickpeas to create a unique, aromatic hummus.
